During the explosion in digital technologies in the 1980’s James worked on coin operated video game equipment speciallising in Z80 and the 8080 intel controlled game boards. He then moved to professional audio and home audio repairs and installation.
Following a home invasion in 2023 where criminals stole his keys and car as seen below befriending his dogs, James was faced with re-keying his doors and replacing a remote-control for his garage. His keys were out in the public somewhere so disabling the radio frequency for the garage door was a priority.
